With classic lashes you get the VERY NATURAL LOOK.

With this method 1 lash extension is individually applied to your 1 natural lash. Classic lashes give you length and a slight volume. Classic lashes are perfect for clients who already have a lot of lashes, but want to add more length.

We cover all your healthy and strong natural lashes to provide long lasting results and quality service. We don't cover baby lashes as they should be left to grow stronger and longer before they get extended.

Very fluffy and light giving just enough fullness and darkness. Ideal of creating wispy and spiky looks. The new trendy, custom-made look!

Hybrid Lashes

book now

Hand-fanned 3D volume lashes give you the FULL VOLUME LOOK.

With this method multiple lashes are applied to 1 single natural eyelash individually using very thin lashes,  isolating 1 natural eyelash at a time.

This method is also known as Russian volume. The lash extensions used in this method are significantly thinner (usually 0.07 mm, 0.06 mm or less in diameter) than the lash extensions used for the classic lash method. Every set is completely custom-made to suit each individual natural lash and desired look.

Ps! Can still look quite natural. Feels very light and fluffy. Good option for those who don't have many lashes naturally as this method will create a illusion of more lashes.

Light Volume Lashes

Slightly more darker and fuller look than with light volume.

Volume lashes are lighter, fluffier and give the client a fuller look. Volume lashes are prefect for clients who don't have a lot of lashes, have sparse lashes, bald spots or just want a more dramatic look without having to use a thicker lash.

With dark volume, 4-5 very light lashes are applied on to your one natural lash. You will get a DARK FULL VOLUME LOOK.

Frequently asked questions

What are eyelash extensions and what are they made of?

What are eyelash extensions and what are they made of?

Eyelash extensions are special synthetic eyelashes that are specifically made to be attached to natural eyelashes in order to add length and volume.

Lashes we use are made of synthetic fibres.

What is the difference between Classic, Hybrid and Volume lashes?

What is the difference between Classic, Hybrid and Volume lashes?

Classic is a technique where one eyelash extension is attached to a single natural lash. It gives you mostly extra length, which makes it a good option for very natural look and is also suitable if you have many lashes. Known as a 'mascara' type of look.

Volume lashes are applied by a different, more advanced technique where multiple very fine lashes are fanned together to create a fuller and darker lash look. Good option for adding volume if you don't have many natural lashes.

Hybrid lashes are a mix of classic and volume lashes (approximately 70% classic & 30% volume). Great for textured, wispy lash looks, or if you feel classic is too natural and volume is too dramatic.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Eyelash extensions can last up to 6 weeks on average. To maintain the initial full look, infills are required every 2-3 weeks. Your extensions will gradually get less full over the course of the weeks as your natural lash cycle goes through the different stages. It also depends on how well the lashes are cared for at home. We recommend following our after-care guide to get the most out of your extensions.

Why DO I need infills?

Why DO I need infills?

Over the weeks your lashes get less full. When your natural lashes grow out with the extension, your natural lashes shed, or the adhesive breaks down and the extension falls off.

Natural lashes grow in cycles, one lash cycle lasts about 60-90 days. Your lash cycle has different stages: the growth phase, the transition phase and the resting phase. Depending on a person you can shed 1-5 lashes per day. Therefore the initial set can't last forever. From time-to-time your lashes might be less full looking or last longer than other months, depending on what stage most of your natural lashes are.

How often do I need infills?

How often do I need infills?

Infills are recommended every 2-3 weeks after the initial set. It mainly comes down to your natural lash cycle, amount of natural lashes, the set you received and home after-care. In some cases its possible to make your extensions last longer and do infills every 4 weeks.
It's not good to leave your lashes without a infill over 4 weeks as most of your lash extensions will be very grown out by that time and putting extra unnecessary pressure on your natural lashes.

Less than 40% of extensions left by the time of the infill will require a new full set.

How long do the appointments take?

How long do the appointments take?

Applying eyelash extensions is an extremely delicate process and can't be rushed when offering quality service. We take the utmost care of your natural lashes and also aim to always fill all your suitable natural lashes to achieve the best results.

  • Volume full set takes 2-2.5 h hours (we apply hand-made volume lashes which require a very high skill level)
  • Hybrid full set takes up to 2 h
  • Classic full set takes 1.5-2 h

Infill timings depend on how long it's been in-between your appointments, how many lashes you have lost, what set you have, or the level of fullness you desire, and can be 45, 60, 75 or 90 minutes in duration.

Do lash extensions damage natural lashes?

Do lash extensions damage natural lashes?

Lash extensions don't damage your natural lashes if they have been applied correctly. It's very important to choose the right length and thickness without putting too much weight on the natural lash.

Eyelash isolation (making sure all lashes get to grow individually in their own speed) is also extremely important to ensure no damage on natural lashes.

At Live Love Lash Sydney your lash health is our number one priority. We use the right techniques and high-quality products so you can enjoy wearing lash extensions for as long as you wish without damage.

Is it possible to have an allergic reaction to eyelash extensions?

Is it possible to have an allergic reaction to eyelash extensions?

Most people will never have an allergic reaction to eyelash extensions, however, it is possible. Reactions can be caused by lash glue (adhesive), gel pads, tape, cleansers, primers etc. Prior to your appointment we gather information to be aware any allergies you might have so we can do our best to avoid any reactions happening. Unfortunately, sometimes, even after following all the guidelines and using the best quality products, you can still develop an allergy over time.

If you have had an allergic reaction, you should not have eyelashes again as it is highly likely to reoccur. If you do experience an allergic reaction, you must seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Can I shower, exercise, go to sauna and swim with eyelash extensions?

Can I shower, exercise, go to sauna and swim with eyelash extensions?

Yes, you can do all of those everyday activities as per normal while wearing your eyelash extensions.

We do recommend washing your eyelashes with a lash cleanser each time after you swim, go to sauna or exercise to avoid any build-up of chorine/salt/sweat/oils on the lash line.

How to look after my lash extensions and how do I make them last longer?

How to look after my lash extensions and how do I make them last longer?

Your home aftercare is very important to maximise the time your eyelash extensions last.

  • Wash your eyes and lash extension daily with the special lash cleanser (available to purchase in the salon). The cleaner you keep your eyelashes, the longer they last.
  • Brush your eyelash extension daily, keeping them nice and tidy.
  • Do not use any lash curlers on your lash extensions.
  • Avoid pulling and rubbing your eyelash extensions, be gentle with them.
  • Avoid heavy makeup (eyeliners) and cluster lashes.
  • Detailed aftercare instructions are explained after each appointment.

Can I wear makeup with eyelash extensions?

Can I wear makeup with eyelash extensions?

Yes, you can wear make up with your eyelash extensions.

However, we recommend not to wear oil-based or waterproof eyeliners as they can be difficult to remove. Don not wear mascara on eyelash extensions, especially on volume lashes, as it clumps them together and will ruin the full and fluffy look. You actually don't even need to wear any extra eye makeup or mascara as the eyelashes will be enough to complete the look.

PS. If you still love to wear lots of eye makeup, it is recommended to remove it safely prior to your lash appointment. Excess makeup residue and oil based products can cause your lash extensions to last less.

Are there Any reasons to not get eyelash extensions?

Are there Any reasons to not get eyelash extensions?

We don't recommend getting eyelash extensions if you have experienced any of the following:

  • You have had an allergic reaction to eyelash extension products (adhesive or any other products used in the eyelash application process)
  • If you have an eye infection like conjunctivitis, blepharitis etc.
  • If you are extremely sensitive or prone to swelling, redness and watering around eyes
  • If you have had recent cosmetic eye surgery or eyeliner tattoo
  • If you can't keep your eyes still or completely closed for any other reason
  • If you don't have any healthy or strong enough natural lashes
